Open System Preferences from your Dock or Launchpad.
Click on 'Sign in with your Apple Account' at the top of the left menu.
Enter your district email address in the email field and click the 'Continue' button (note that you enter it on the right side of the field)
Click the 'Continue' button again.
Log into your Google Workspace account using your email address and password as prompted.
You might be asked to enter your Mac Password. If so, enter the password for the device that you are logging in from and click the 'Continue' button.
You might be asked to enter the passcode or password for another device that you are currently logged into with your managed Apple ID. If so, enter that information and click 'Continue'. If this is your first time logging in, you won't be prompted for this.
You will asked if you want to merge some of your Apple information from the device you are logging into with your uploaded iCloud information. If you choose 'Merge', then any contacts, Safari browser information and Freeform data will be merged into any data that you already have stored in your iCloud account. It does not delete any information from your device or in your iCloud account.
If you choose not to merge, then any data that is already on the device you are logging in from will only be available on that device.
If you are logging into your Apple ID on a device that is not your normal device (a spare or someone elses device), you should choose 'Don't Merge'.
At this point, you will be brought back to the Apple ID for RSU9 screen. Don't click 'Continue' again. Even though it doesn't look like it, Apple is working hard to sign you into your account so be patient!
Once Apple is done signing you in, you will now be back at the System Preferences window with your Apple ID showing.
Open 'Settings' from the iPad dock or home screen.
Press on 'Apple Account' in the sidebar.
Press on 'Sign in Manually'
Enter your district email address in the email field and press the 'Continue' button
Press the 'Continue' button again
Log into your Google Workspace account using your email address and password as prompted.
Enter the passcode for the iPad and press 'Done'
Enter the passcode for the iPad and press 'Done'
You may be promted to enter the passcode or password for another Apple device that you have signed into with this managed Apple ID.
Once Apple is done signing you in, you will be back at the Settings window with your Apple ID showing.
In System Preferences on your MacBook or Settings on your iPad, click your Apple ID name in the upper left corner.
Choose 'iCloud'.
Click 'See All' in the 'Saved to iCloud' section.
Click 'iCloud Drive'.
Click the slider next to 'Desktop & Documents Folders' to toggle it on (it will be blue).
