The items listed below represent the basic technology tasks that you need to complete as a new staff member at RSU 9. When you picked up your device, someone from IT Services may have assisted you in completing some or all of them. If you need more assistance, please reach out!
✔️ Log in to your device and change your password or passcode
Change the login password on Mac (Apple Support)
Set a passcode on iPad (Apple Support)
✔️ Log in to Chrome using your Google Workspace account
✔️ Log in to your email account (you already are if you did the previous step)
If you already logged in to Chrome, you just need to go to https://www.gmail.com and you should be logged in already.
Remember...NEVER use your work email for personal business!
✔️ Turn on 2-step verification on your Google account (Google probably already prompted you to do this)
If you were not prompted to do this during your first log in, check out these instruction to turn it on now.
✔️ Log into your Managed Apple ID on your device
✔️ Log into PowerSchool SIS (via Google SSO)
✔️ Log into PowerSchool Records (via Google SSO)
✔️ Log into the iiQ Helpdesk portal (via Google SSO)
✔️ Set up printing on your device
