Self Service

Self Service is an app similar to the Mac App Store where you can access and install a variety of applications that have been made available by the technology department. Apps that are available on Self Service can be installed without the need for an administrator’s authentication making it a vital resource for distributing apps.

Self Service can be accessed from the Launchpad, from the Applications folder in Finder or from your Dock (unless you have removed the shortcut). In addition to installing apps, Self Service is where you go to install any district printers or copiers that are available to you.
