Our helpdesk technicians are available to help with most technology support requests. They each travel the district so you may see any of them stopping by your office or classroom if you put in a request.
Dakota started in early 2022 and in addition to working general help tickets, he works closely with our Network Admin to keep the district networks up and running.
Hope has rejoined the district and is happy to be part of our team! She is a dedicated specialist in Classroom Technology Integration, backed by ten years of experience in School Technology. A true believer in the power of creative tech, she has developed a passion and proficiency for 3D printing and projects that fuse art and technology. Hope is committed to making innovation accessible in every learning space and supporting education for everyone.
Isaac joined the technology team in late 2022 and recently stepped into the role of PowerSchool SIS Administrator. Currently dedicated to mastering the complexities of the district’s database, he approaches every new challenge with a focused and deliberate mindset. In addition to managing PowerSchool, Isaac is the primary point of contact for Clever and NWEA support. He prioritizes the integrity and security of student data above all else, maintaining a calm approach during busy seasons. To ensure he can provide the most accurate and thorough assistance for every request, he encourages the use of the ticketing system as the primary way to reach him for support.
Nicole left her 1st grade classroom in 2023 to provide training and support on the technology integration side of IT. If your question is “how do I use this”, “how do I integrate this” or “how do I teach with this”, she is the person to ask.
Martha has been with RSU 9 for 14 years. In 2022, she was chosen as a Distinguished Educator by the Maine Department of Education. During those two years as an MLTI Ambassador, she collaborated with other Ambassadors and technology integration specialists to provide statewide professional development. Now she’s back home with us to share all that knowledge with our learning community.
Mark is our MDM Administrator and Helpdesk Operations Coordinator. He deals with all things Jamf related and makes sure that our helpdesk is running efficiently. A lot of his work is behind the scenes but you will likely see him helping out the helpdesk crew during busy times or if they run into a particularly tricky issue.
Sean is our Network and Systems Administrator. His work is almost entirely behind the scenes and if you see him stopping by your office or classroom, it’s not a good sign! Sean keeps our networks up and running, deals with all things phone related and makes sure we all have access to the digital systems that we need for daily life at RSU 9.
After eight years at the helpdesk, Kevin Bremner took over the role of Director of Technology in 2022. Charged with “running the department” he relies on his crack team of IT professionals to keep tech working in the district.
